KATHY GARLAND, CMEC
Kathy Garland is the founder and president of Quanta Partners. She is a certified management
effectiveness coach, trainer and consultant. She leads her clients, including business owners,
sales professionals and sales executives through programs that inspire action and growth in
professional and personal development. As a coach, she believes that people have everything
they need for success and her passion is to empower clients to discover and access their
untapped talents and abilities for unprecedented growth and performance.
Experience and Background
Kathy's experience includes new business development and sales, marketing strategy and
implementation, product development, and national account management. While at nationally
recognized branding firm Yamamoto Moss, Kathy led sales resulting in double-digit growth
over a number of years. Kathy consulted with clients such as Royal Caribbean International,
3M, American Express and St. Jude Medical, as well as small companies, which has provided
rich experience for understanding clients and the challenges they face.
Kathy enjoys public speaking and has spoken about marketing
and branding topics at conferences sponsored by Microsoft, Minnesota High Tech Association,
Women in Communications and Public Relations Society of America and lectured at University
of St. Thomas on brand alignment. Currently her speech topics focus on business growth strategies.
Education and Training
Kathy's educational background includes a BSBA from Southern Illinois University, coaching
certification and graduate course work from The Academy of Coaching and various personal
growth seminars and programs.
Community and Business Affiliations
She is a member of National Association of Women Business Owners where she serves as Member Representative for the Collin/Denton area council. In addition she belongs to the Plano Chamber of Commerce, eWomenNetwork and WorldWIT.
